Clean Staycation Commitment

Keeping you safe on your staycation.

The restrictions imposed because of coronavirus are loosening, however, safety through cleanliness will be with us for a long time. So, when you book your staycation, you need to think safety.

Airbnb - one of the biggest players in staycations - have a 5 Step Enhanced Cleaning Process, which they introduced in 2020 at the height of the pandemic. Booking.com also has guidelines for levels of cleanliness and sanitisation, as does TripAdvisor.

Lets Stay has always treated cleanliness as a priority, even before any of us had heard of social-distancing! In the months before the pandemic, reviews regularly rated us as 'Sparkling Clean'. Cleanliness and attention to details are in our nature.

In response to COVID, our cleaning regime has become even tougher, with a greatly enhanced level of cleaning now in place, with many soft items like cushion covers being washed between each stay. The biggest change has been to remove same day turnarounds. Our accommodation always remains empty for a night before you arrive, allowing for greater protection for both our staff and our guests.

As a result of removing same day turnovers, we now offer check-in at the earlier time of midday. Check-out is also midday so there is no mad rush on your departure day.

Cleanliness doesn't stop when you arrive. To help you make the most of your stay safely we supply hand sanitiser, plus there is disinfectant and other cleaning products ready for you to use as necessary. Coffee, tea and sugar are in individual servings and handmade soap comes wrapped in a single packet. We do what we can to help you stop the spread of the virus.

We do ask that you help out too. At the end of your stay, please tie up your rubbish and take it to the outside bin provided. Doing this simple thing helps keep the housekeepers safe, and it's often the little things that make the biggest difference.
