COVID Continued Comfort Policy

It seems that the worst of COVID-19 is behind us now here in the UK. We hope you have remained safe and well during these unprecedented times. However, the Pesky Pandemic has not yet completely gone away, and there are still some government restrictions in place.

We are committed to maintaining appropriate measures to ensure the safety of ourselves and our guests. Taking into account government restrictions and our personal feelings of responsibility for the health and comfort of our guests, we have put in place our COVID Continued Comfort Plan.

Below is the latest information, which will be kept up-to-date and in line with national guidelines.

Refund Policy

If you book directly with us through the Lets Stay website and need to cancel your stay, the following will apply:

Should government restrictions prevent holiday travel, we will refund you in full.

Bookings made through third parties such as Airbnb are not covered by the above. If you have made a booking through another site, please see their policies.

Cleaning changes

Lets Stay properties have always been sparkling clean, with reviews often mentioning how clean everything is. At the start of the pandemic, however, we introduced enhanced cleaning. We call it Clean Clean!

Unnecessary items have been removed to reduce the risk of cross-contamination. All cushion covers and other removable soft furnishings get washed between guests. Our housekeepers sanitise touch points such as door handles and light switches.

Additionally, extra cleaning materials are available to guests. These are under the kitchen sink and include anti-bacterial cleaner.

Overnight gap between guests

Since reopening after lockdowns, we have introduced a one-night gap between guests. There are no same‑day changeovers, meaning that no other guest has been in the property earlier on the day you arrive.

This extra time between guests protects our housekeepers as well as our guests. We take our responsibility seriously to reduce the spread of COVID‑19.

Because of the extra time between guests we also now offer an earlier check-in time of midday as standard.

NHS Track and Trace

An NHS Trace and Track code is inside the main entrance to each property. Please scan the QR code using the NHS Track and Trace app on your mobile phone when you check‑in.

Self check-in

Before the Pesky Pandemic, it was usual for one of our team to meet guests on arrival. We have always had the facility for self-check-in but now guests are encouraged to use this method. However, on occasion, you may still see one of the team when you first arrive.

Using the self-check-in is quick and easy, and reduces the risk of spreading COVID-19. It also means you can arrive at whatever time suits you after midday.

Individual supplies

Having a cuppa and a biscuit after a long journey is important. That's why we supply enough tea, coffee, sugar and milk to get you started; we want your staycation to be great from the first moment.

In response to the Pesky Pandemic, we have introduced individual sachets to help prevent cross-contamination. Tea, coffee and sugar are separately wrapped, and fresh milk will be in the fridge waiting for you. There will be individually wrapped, hand-made soap in the bathroom.

If you stayed with us before the Pesky Pandemic you may have enjoyed breakfast treats. Unfortunately, it has been necessary to remove these, but we hope to be able to restore them in the future.
