Enjoying the peace of a walk on staycation

One of the lovely aspects of a staycation is the time to relax. Free from the time pressures of daily life, there is time to reflect and enjoy a slower pace.

What better way to enjoy the peace than with a walk in the English countryside. North Warwickshire is blessed with peaceful but interesting walks. Many are easy on the legs as the landscape is rolling without lots of steep hills. Walking is made even easier thanks to canal towpaths and other flat routes.

At Lets Stay, we understand the importance of getting out and about during your staycation. We have put together a set of walking guides to help you discover some of the hidden treasures around Abbey Green View in Nuneaton with a similar guide coming soon for Gosford Apartment in Coventry.

The first of our guides takes you on an approximately 2 hour long walk. Starting from Abbey Green View, the route heads across the green, then along the well-maintained canal towpath for the majority of the walk. This is a lovely trip for the whole family, including the family hound. This walk ends at Bermuda Park railway station. From here there is a choice to continue on another walk back to Abbey Green View or to catch the train to Nuneaton railway station.
