Booking is just the start

What happens once a booking is made

You've weighed up the options and decided to book your staycation with Lets Stay. So what happens now?

To make your booking, select the dates for your staycation. The website will tell you if the which properties are available and the total cost. The price you see is the price you pay for the accommodation; there are no extras you have to pay. Cleaning, bedding, heating, etc are all included in the price.

When you are happy, select the 'Book Now' option where you can provide your name and email address. At this point the reservation is yours! Nobody else can jump in and take your staycation dates. The whole Lets Stay Team celebrate because you are coming to stay with us. Even Boomer, the office hound, does a happy dance.

Then click to make your payment. You get transferred to the payment provider of your choice. We don't ask for or get access to your card details. The payment provider handles your financial details using top levels of security.

Once you have paid, you return to the Lets Stay website. If, for any reason, the payment was not successful, you can try again. You have 15 minutes before your staycation dates get released for others to book. Upon successful payment, you will get a confirmation email with full details of your stay. Please check to ensure this is correct and contact us if anything needs changing.

As the date for your staycation draws closer, we will send you more information about the property and the area. Designed to help you get the most from your staycation, many guests find this invaluable. Also, if you have given us your phone number, you will get a call from Debbie. Debbie is our Creator of Customer Contentment. It is Debbie's mission to make your stay as wonderful as we can. She will be able to answer any questions, note any special requests and help you prepare.

Finally, it's tomorrow that your staycation starts! The day before your are due to arrive you will get a welcome pack by email. We will also send a text message. This contains the exact address, the key codes to access the property and other details. All you need to do now is get yourself to the property. If you will be arriving by public transport, let Debbie know and we'll send you more specific information.

You arrive at your staycation home. In the kitchen you will find coffee, tea, sugar and biscuits with milk in the refrigerator. All ready for you to relax after your journey. If you've ordered a hamper, food box or drinks, they will be waiting for you also.

At Lets Stay, we take great care of our preparation to ensure that everything goes smoothly. But, of course, problems do sometimes happen. If you experience any problems or have any questions, we are always on hand to provide help. You may even get a call from Debbie to check everything is spot on for you.

At the end of your stay, we ask that you bag up your rubbish and take the bag to the outside wheelie bin provided. This helps the housekeepers immensely and keeps them safe from COVID related infections. Check that you have left the parking pass (if applicable) behind for the next guests. Then put the keys back in the keysafe.

We leave you a feedback form and would be grateful if you could provide your honest thoughts. If there is anything you think we could do better, we would love to know. There is also a card for you to put in your purse or wallet. Use the code next time you book and get free cake waiting for you. The cakes we have are scrumptious! Just ask Debbie about the cake...

Take care on your onward journey or travelling back home. After you have arrived home, it would be wonderful if you could take a moment to leave us an honest review. Our business relies on reviews and you would find it surprising how difficult it is to get reviews. So one from you would be amazing and help Joolz and Ian improve.
